Rita aged 87 passed away in Whiston Hospital in the presence of her daughter Carol on 8th January. Beloved wife of the late Norman, mother-in-law of the late Peter and devoted Nana to Jack. Rita will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
Rita was Regional Personnel Officer at Jacobs/Northgate Sewing Factory on the Parr Industrial Estate for over 20 years and finally was a Chief Executive of Training Agencies in St Helens.
Her love of Charity work throughout her life led her to being one of the major voluntary fundraisers of Willowbrook Hospice in its formative years and beyond.
Requiem mass will take place on Friday 20 February at St Julies RC Church, Howards Lane, Eccleston at 10.30am and afterwards at St Helens Crematorium. Family Flowers Only. Donations to Willowbrook Hospice.
